Venkatesh Follows Mohanlal Yet Again & Confirms ‘Drishyam 2’

Being a big star, Victory Venkatesh is never shy of attempting remakes or is headstrong about his position in the industry.

He is never afraid of doing any sort of roles and coming to remakes he’s got quite a list of them which were successful.

He remade Sala Khadoos as Guru while he is currently making Narappa which is the Telugu version of Dhanushs super hit film Asuran.He remade Drushyam in 2014 which turned out to be a very good hit in Tollywood too.The unique storyline and thrilling narration impressed the viewers.Now the makers have confirmed that Venkatesh will be doing the remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Drishyam 2’ in the direction of Jeethu Joseph.

The Malayalam version is now streaming on Amazon Prime with Mohanlal in the lead role and the film has received thumbs from critics and the general audiences as well.Meena, Kruthika Jayakumar, and Esther Anil will be reprising their roles for ‘Drushyam 2’ as Venkatesh’s family.

With reports now stating the project is being planned to be wrapped up as early as possible with all the COVID-19 protocols in place.The Telugu remake will begin its regular shoot next month.

Due to the unavailability of Varun Tej’s dates, the shoot of Anil Ravipudi’s ‘F3’ will be halted for a month.So, Venkatesh has given these dates to ‘Drushyam 2’.Venkatesh is currently on a break after he recently completed the shooting for his upcoming big film, ‘Naarappa’ which is being directed by Srikanth Addala.Stay tuned for more updates!.
