TSRTC to introduce sleeper bus services

The Telangana RTC has now decided to introduce new sleeper services.Since Sajjanar took over as the MD of TSRTC, he is introducing new ways to improve the condition of TSRTC, and the situation at TSRTC has changed drastically.

He is focusing, especially on revenue generation.As part of this, MD mentioned the issue of sleeper services.

He pointed out that this was the main reason for the high occupancy in private travels buses.In the past, the TSRTC decided to start some buses on an experimental basis.

But due to some reasons, the TSRTC has not implemented it.With this, MD VC Sajjanar decided to introduce TSRTC sleeper services.Four years ago, regular buses were the most common form of private travel.Only 20% had sleeper buses.

As the demand for sleeper buses from passengers increased, many buses were converted into sleepers by Travels operators.The demand for non-AC sleeper buses is even higher.

Gradually their number is increasing as profits on sleeper‌ services increase.Now the RTC has taken a similar path.However, as Sajjanar was interested in launching sleeper buses, the authorities decided to change some of the Garuda Plus buses to sleeper models.
