Telangana State Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao has directed officials to complete the tender process for the Warangal Multi-Specialty Hospital, which is being ambitiously built by the Telangana state government, by the end of this month.
He said the officials should expedite the process as the government already sanctioned permits for construction with Rs 1,100 crore.
It was suggested that steps be taken to start construction work in the first week of January.At the same time, it was clarified that the construction process of 8 new medical colleges should be expedited.
Chief Minister KCR will soon lay the foundation stone for four TIMS hospitals to be built across Hyderabad, the minister said.On the occasion, Minister Harish Rao said that the government aims to set up a medical college in the district to provide super speciality services to the rural people.
The minister held a review meeting with health, R&B officials at the BRK Bhavan on the construction of medical colleges.The Minister discussed with the designing agencies and officials of the respective colleges.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that with the completion of Warangal Multi-Specialty Hospital, the state will become a medical hub.
