Trinamool in Tripura will rout BJP, not cower down like CPI M, Cong. Abhishek

Agartala 22 Nov : Abhishek Banerjee was the national general secretary of Trinamool Congress.He stated here Monday that his party had come to Tripura in order to defeat the BJP.

It is not like Congress or the CPI-M to give up on the attacks by the saffron parties and flee the battlefieldBanerjee stated to the media that both the Congress and the CPI-M, who ruled Tripura for years, do not have the mindset or the capability to defeat the BJP.The Congress is intimidating and making false accusations against workers, opposition leaders and other people opposed the saffron parties.Banerjee said, "We (Trinamool), came to Tripura only three months ago and the BJP has been rattled.

" He arrived in Agartala Monday after West Bengal Trinamool Youth Congress president Saayoni Gandhi was arrested by Tripura police.Banerjee invoked five provisions from the IPC including murder and provocation to create riot.

He stated that he had filed more than 100 FIRs.Eleven women candidates in the Trinamool civic election were targeted, as well as all of the Trinamool leader.

However, no one was arrested, and they didnt even interrogate the culprits.Saayoni, however was taken into custody for promoting a slogan called Khela Hobey "All BJP leaders, Dilip Ghosh, and Sukanta Majumdar (state unit chief) were not attacked by the Bengali BJP, except for Dilip Ghosh.

" The BJP attacked Subal Bhowmik, the Trinamool convener and chief of Trinamool on Sunday in Tripura.The Trinamool planned to host a roadshow on Monday in Tripura ahead of the civic elections.

However, Banerjee was not allowed to lead the show.Instead, the Trinamool held a smaller gathering in the city.Banerjee answered the question, "Why was Saayoni arrested?".She said she was being held on murder and provocation charges.

But who did she kill or provoke to do this? He stated, "An entirely false case was filed against her." Banerjee claimed that BJP-ruled Tripura is characterized by total lawlessness, jungle raj, and that a police station was attacked in capital.On Sunday, Banerjee stated that BJP supporters also attacked the citys police station, forcing them to hide under the table.

Journalists were also not spared the BJP attack.To save himself from BJP attacks, he urged voters to wear the BJP symbol of lotus, and Narendra Modi’s photograph, then vote for the Trinamool candidates at Thursdays election to Agartala Municipal Corp and 19 other municipalities across Tripura.

Banerjee thanked CPI-M also for condemning Saayonis arrest, and urged the Left to continue fighting against the BJP on the ground.Trinamools leader criticised the National Human Rights Commission, (NHRC).
