Trailer Talk: Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Malik’ Looks Intense

Malayalam star hero Fahad Faasil was recently in the news as he was finalized as the main antagonist in Allu Arjuns upcoming pan Indian film Pushpa which is directed by star director Sukumar.Now the much-awaited trailer of Fahadh Faasil’s ambitious movie Malik was released on Thursday evening and seems like a gripping political thriller is on its way.

The film is directed by Mahesh Narayanan.Going by the trailer, Fahadh Faasil plays a Muslim guy named Sulaiman who commands unconditional love from his people.

He is seen in dual avatars in the trailer where he is dressed in a white mundu and shirt in the old look while we also get to see the younger version of Sulaiman.The trailer also seems to throw light on the atrocities committed against minorities.

Reports suggest that Malik has been inspired by a real-life incident that happened in the coastal region of Thiruvananthapuram.Anto Joseph has bankrolled the film, which also stars Biju Menon, Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, and Vinay Forrt in pivotal roles.Malik is scheduled to hit the big screen on May 13th this year on the occasion of Eid.Watch the trailer here- .
