Tamannah To Do A Biopic On Legendary Actress

Biopics on famous personalities are never-ending trends in Indian Cinema.

Tollywood made heads turn all over India, with its epic biopic of yesteryear actress Mahanati Savitri.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Mahanati saw Keerthy Suresh play the role of Savitri.She won a national film award for best actress for her performance, and the entire film fraternity of India was blown away by this biopic.

Now the latest news is that one more film on another yesteryear actress is being made.According to the latest reports, the biopic of legendary actress Jamuna is in the making.

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is reportedly in talks to essay the title role.Jamuna is one of the most talented actresses Tollywood has ever witnessed who ruled Tollywood in the 1950s and 1960s and shared the screen space with so many star heroes at that time like Sr.NTR, ANR, SV Ranga Rao etc.

New is that Director Sivanagu Narra who has recently released the movie Devineni has chalked out a script on the legendary actress Jamuna.Tamannah has been approached and we need to see if she gives the nod to this film or not.As of now, Tamannah is currently busy gearing up for the release of her new film Seetimaar with Gopichand.Keep watching this space for more updates!.
