Allu Arjun is a famous actor in Telugu films who gained immense popularity across the country with the success of his recent film, Pushpa.
The movie, directed by Sukumar, is set in the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling rackets in Andhra Pradeshs Chittoor district.
Allu Arjun played the role of Pushpa Raj in the film, impressing audiences with his stunning transformation for the character.The official teaser of Pushpa 2, which began rolling in Andhra Pradesh, has finally got a release date.
The teaser, called the First Glimpse Video, will be released on April 8, 2023, on Allu Arjuns 41st birthday.The makers confirmed this with a special poster.
The Pushpa 2 official teaser will be a 3-minute-long concept video featuring a high voltage action sequence with Allu Arjun.Though not much has been revealed, rumours suggest that it will have a special surprise for Allu Arjuns fans.
Earlier, it was expected that Pushpa 2 would release in January 2024.However, sources close to the film confirmed that the movies release would be delayed till March-April 2024 due to Sukumars perfectionism, as he doesnt want to rush through the shooting process.Pushpa 2s female lead will be Rashmika Mandanna, who will reprise her character, Sri Valli, from the original film.
Fahadh Faasil, a National award-winning actor, will play the lead antagonist in the movie.Pushpa 2 is produced by a prestigious banner and will get a pan-Indian release like its predecessor.
Pushpa is a movie that was first made in Telugu language.The first part of the movie was then dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages and released.
This is the first time that a movie starring Allu Arjun has been released in five different languages at the same time.In the first part of the movie, Allu Arjun played the role of a truck driver who also smuggles sandalwood.
The movie earned more than ₹300 crore globally, and the Hindi dubbed version alone made over ₹100 crore.
