Nani comes hard at Nimmagadda

YSRCP leaders allege SEC is taking biased decisions against YSR Congress Party.

As soon as the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar announced the schedule for Gram Panchayat Elections, YSRCP leaders have targeted him saying the decision appeared in favour of Telugu Desam Party.

Recently, AP Minister for Civil Supplies Kodali Nani has come up with harsh comments on Nimmagadda and even compared him with a dog.Speaking at the meeting held in CM’s Camp Office in Amaravati, Kodali Nani said the SEC must resign or made to get down to save the constitution.Further, he said if we make a dog sit on the throne, the reputation of the throne goes down, and everyone in Andhra Pradesh knows whether Nimmagadda belongs to constitution or part of the TDP.

Nani said the SEC is obeying TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s orders and announcing the schedule of Gram Panchayat Elections is a part of that.Besides, Nani said the state government is reluctant to go ahead with the Panchayat polls as several policemen, teachers and other officials tested positive for COVID-19.

Finally, he added that the government would go to the court if the EC is stubborn about holding the polls in February.
