A case has been registered against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma at the Jubilee Hills police station for making indecent remarks against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
TPCC president Revanth Reddy lodged a complaint with the police.
It is learned that Revanth on Monday asked the police to register criminal cases against Hemantha for insulting women.Revanth Reddy demanded that the Assam CM be arrested within 12 hours on the 16th of this month.
Himanta Bishwa sharma, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister, said it was a shame to make such obscene remarks during the election campaign.He immediately filed a criminal case against Hemanta Biswa and sought his dismissal from the post of CM.On Monday, Revanth Reddy along with several other Congress leaders lodged a complaint at the Jubilee Hills police station against Himanta Biswa sharma for making indecent remarks on Rahul Gandhi to this extent.Several complaints were filed by the Congress across the state on Monday, February 14.The complaint mentioned the respectable family background of Rahul Gandhi.The complainant alleged that the comments of the Assam Chief Minister deeply pained and hurt them and they have requested the police to register an FIR against Himanta Biswa Sarma under Sections 153-A, 505 (2) and 294 of the Indian Penal Code.
