Madhavan To Replace Vijay Sethupathi In ‘Pushpa’

Tamil star actor Vijay Sethupathi who was supposed to play a crucial role in the Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa, has recently confirmed about opting out of the film directed by Sukumar citing date issues as he is packed with a few Tamil projects which he committed beforehand.

Earlier there was news that the makers have been figuring out yet another actor and another Tamil actor Bobby Simhas name came into the picture who will be replacing Vijay Sethupathi but the latest news is that Sukumar wants to replace Vijay Sethupathi with veteran actor Madhavan.

It is being said that the makers of Pushpa will be initiating talks with Madhavan very soon.Sukumar will be narrating the story to Madhavan in a week or so and the latter will be taking a decision accordingly.

If this casting happens, the film will become super interesting.Madhavan will next be seen in Anushka’s ‘Nishabdham’ which will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on October 2nd.Meanwhile, Pushpa unit is planning to resume shoot in the month of November.The film has Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady while Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music.
