In a fiery retort, KT Rama Rao, the dynamic working president of Telanganas ruling party, BRS, didnt mince words.
He lambasted Union Home Minister Amit Shahs recent address in Adilabad, branding it a concoction of "Jhoot Aur Jumla," an artful blend of falsehood and rhetoric.
With a sly grin, Rao couldnt resist taking a witty swipe at Shahs assertion that Telangana bore the dubious distinction of the highest farmer suicides.Like a seasoned maestro, he deftly produced a news article that told a completely different tale – Telangana, in fact, boasted the lowest number of farmer suicides.
In a poetic twist of irony, Rao posed a pointed question to the ether, "Whos spinning these tall tales of farmer woes in Telangana? Is it AmitShah Ji or the entire NDA Government?" His words resonated with a potent truth: the DNA of the so-called "Bakwaas Jhoot Party" appeared saturated with fabrications and empty promises. No matter the effort to deceive, the people of Telangana stood resolute with KCR, their faith unshakeable.
“Who’s propagating blatant lies on farmer suicides in Telangana? @AmitShah Ji or his NDA Govt? The Bakwaas Jhoot Party’s DNA is full of Jhoot Aur Jumla No matter how hard you try to deceive #TelanganaWithKCR,” he wrote on X on Wednesday, 11 October.“Amit Shah’s statements at the Adilabad public meeting are filled with blatant lies.Amit Shah has become a laughing stock in Telangana,” KTR, the son of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), said in a statement on Tuesday.
Rao pressed for transparency, demanding to know exactly where and how Jay Shahs cricketing journey unfolded. With a touch of sarcasm, Rao revisited a promise made by Amit Shah half a decade ago in Adilabad, where he pledged to resurrect the dormant Cement Corporation of India.
The pledge, like a phantom, still lingered unfulfilled. In a stinging indictment, Rao laid bare the BJP-led governments alleged neglect of Telangana.
In the ten years since the birth of Telangana, not a single new educational institution had been bestowed upon the state. It was a stark silence that spoke volumes.
Rao vehemently contested Shahs assertion that Telangana led the nation in farmer suicides, deeming it a deceitful distortion of reality. He accused the BJP of adopting Telanganas Rythu Bandhu investment support scheme for farmers, only to turn around and falsely accuse the states farmers of despair.
‘BJP using religion for political gains’ “The BJP is more interested in using religion for political gains, potentially disrupting communal harmony,” he alleged. The BRS leader also said that Shah should provide a detailed account of what the BJP has done for Telangana over the past decade before asking people for votes.
Referring to Shah’s allegation that the “steering” of the BRS (the party’s poll symbol is the car) is in the hands of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), he assured that it is in the hands of KCR.“People are tired of the empty promises made by BJP leaders during elections.Instead, they should address issues like unemployment and rising essential commodity prices,” KTR said..
