K’taka shocker: The newborn was abandoned and partially ate by dogs that wandered in the hospital’s premises

Mandya (Karnataka) Mandya (Karnataka), Sep 7 : A terrifying incident of dogs that stray into the home of an infant girl who was left unattended in the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) in Karnatakas Mandya district has been reported and police are investigating the matter.

They are analyzing CCTV footage to find evidence.According to police, doctors have confirmed that the baby was born one day earlier and appeared to be handicapped, which could be the reason behind the parents decision to leave her.People contacted the authorities after witnessing a pack of dogs eating the baby in Ward No 7 of MIMS on Tuesday.As the baby moved the baby was moving, people could see she was alive.

People were horrified at the infants injuries and bite marks left by dogs at the moment of the rescue.The MIMS staff arrived on the scene and rescued the infant.

The baby died to injuries, the police said.A report in this matter was filed with West police station in Mandya city.

Police believe that the infant baby was brought in the building by dogs.MIMS Director Dr Mahesh Kumar also visited the site.

The authorities later confirmed that the baby who was abandoned was born at MIMS and verified that the baby wasnt born there.Between the 1st of September and 5of this month, four babies - - three male and one female three males and one female died at the MIMS.
