Kangana Resumes Shooting Amid Controversies

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines for the past few months regularly with the nepotism issues and the alleged use of drugs in Bollywood related to the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.

She also had a face-off with the Maharashtra government and top politicians after her office building was demolished citing violation.

However, the actress has taken a break from the controversies and resumed shooting for the prestigious biopic on yesteryear actress and former Tamil Nadu CM J.Jayalalithaa.

Titled as Thalaivi, this biopic is directed by AL.Vijay and written by Vijayendra Prasad, who had previously written movies like Baahubali, Manikarnika, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.The Queen actor took to Twitter to share a few pictures of herself as she kicked off her work early morning and revealed to her fans that she is traveling to southern India for the shoot of her bilingual project.

Kangana tweeted, “Dear friends today is a very special day, resuming work after seven months, traveling to southern India for my most ambitious bilingual project Thalaivi, need your blessings in these testing times of a pandemic.P.S.just clicked these morning selfies hope you all like them”.Thalaivi also stars Aravind Swami as MGR, Poorna as Sasikala and Madhubala in key roles.Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh.R.Singh are jointly producing the film.Keep watching this space for more updates!.
