Kadapa police arrests Manikanta Reddy for loitering around YS Sunita’s house

Kadapa district police have arrested a man for allegedly roaming at the home of Dr YS Sunita, daughter of late YS Vivekananda Reddy, and making threatening calls to her.Police said that against this backdrop, they took the accused Manikanta Reddy into custody.

As per the official reports, DSP Srinivasan is investigating Manikanta Reddy.

However, detailed information on this is yet to be known.Kadapa district SP Anburajan responded to a letter written by Dr YS Sunita, daughter of the late YS Vivekananda Reddy, seeking immediate protection as her family was in danger of death.

In the wake of this letter, the district SP ordered the officers to set up a police picket immediately at Dr YS Sunitas house.SP Anburajan also directed an inquiry into other issues mentioned in YS Sunitas letter.

The DSP level officer was directed to investigate and take appropriate action.Earlier, YS Sunita has penned a letter to the Kadapa SP Anburajan asking for protection for her family as her life and her family was in danger.

Also, earlier, she mentioned that Shivshankar Reddy is a suspect in the murder case of her father.Now, it is said that Manikanta Reddy is a follower of Shivshankar Reddy.
