IPL 2020: Sreesanth pays lots of respect to Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni stayed unbeaten with 47 runs in 36 balls despite draining out in the heat at Dubai.

Chennai’s top four batsmen have just scored 34 runs together chasing a not-so-difficult total of 164 against SRH on Friday in Dubai.

Shutting the mouths of a few critics, Dhoni came up the order at the fifth place, but the result was the same as the yellow team faced third consecutive defeat which is the first time since 2014.However, Dhoni’s batting remained as heroic, if not exceptional.

He has batted more than an hour in the heat at Dubai, which made him struggle with fatigue.He was out of breath and probably injured when CSK needed 28 runs in the last over.

Though he couldn’t get the things right and SRH won by seven runs, he was trending for his selfless effort.Many fans have lauded Dhoni for pulling out his best despite feeling unwell.

Former bowler Sreesanth too felt the same thing and tweeted “Hats off to @msdhoni bhai.even in this heat keeping for 20 overs and then running (sprinting for his team) lots n lots of respect.

” Chennai fans are hoping Dhoni will bounce back from the next match against KXIP on Sunday.
