First Look: Deepika Padukone as Romi Devi

After a highly acclaimed Gully Boy, Bollywoods young Super Star Ranveer Singh is currently working on his next sports movie titled 83.

The film is based on the journey of the Indian Cricket team winning the World Cup in 1983.

There have been posters coming of each player coming out recently and the promotions are in full swing at the moment.Now the recent update is that Bollywood beauty and Ranveers wife, Deepika Padukone dropped the first look of herself where she is playing the reel life character of Kapil Devs wife Romi Devi in this sports drama.

On the other hand Ranveer is playing the reel life character of Kapil Dev who is the driving force behind the world cup win in 1983.Deepika is seen along side Ranveer in the picture where she is sporting a short bob hair cut along with a bright smile on her face.

She is wearing a black turtle neck tee paired with a beige colored skirt while Ranveer Singh looks just like the former cricketer in a Team India blazer.

The film is directed by Ek Tha Tiger and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan fame Kabir Khan and is jointly produced by Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Phantom Films, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala.The film will simultaneously release in Telugu and Tamil under Nagarjuna and Kamal Hassans banner respectively.
