Evil Dead Rise: Intense Horror Film’s OTT Release and Franchise Details

Lee Cronin, the director of Evil Dead Rise, is set to release the movie on an online streaming platform after it achieved success in theaters.

In an interview with IndieWire, director Lee Cronin expressed his initial lack of interest in creating another Evil Dead movie in the same vein as the original cabin setting.Instead, he opted for a change, stating, "If youre gonna change it up, you may as well go to the other end of the spectrum.

In 2013, the franchise was revived with a new film simply titled Evil Dead, and subsequently, the television series Ash vs.Evil Dead premiered in 2015.
