Devineni Uma’s bail petition likely to be heard tomorrow in AP High court

Devineni Anupama, the wife of TDP leader and former minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao, has complained with the AP High Court Chief Justice alleging that her husband has a risk of death at the Rajahmundry Central Jail.

To this end, she penned to the Chief Justice of the AP High Court.

Also, she has written letters to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, AP Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan and state Home Minister Mekatoti Sucharita.However, she released the letter to the media, too.She expressed suspicion over the abrupt transfer of the Rajahmundry jail superintendent.Devineni Anupama said that Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao is actively involved in public service even if he is not in power.

She said that currently, he is fighting against corruption and the mining mafia in Andhra Pradesh.In the letter, she mentioned that Devineni Uma Maheshwarao was attacked on July 27 in the G.Kondur zone, after which he was arrested and shifted to jail on false charges.Currently, Devineni Uma Maheshwarao is under remand in Rajahmundry Central Jail.

Also, Devineni Anupama attached the transfer orders of the Rajahmundry Central jail Superintendent to the letter.The hearing on Devineni Umas petition adjourned till Monday.
