The curfew has been extended till July 7 in the state of Andhra Pradesh in the wake of Covid.
The positivity rate in the state has reduced to 5 per cent.
Anil Kumar Singhal, the chief secretary of the medical health department, has recently issued orders related to this.The curfew will be eased in East Godavari, West Godavari, Prakasam, Krishna and Chittoor districts from 6 a.m.to 6 p.m.But the curfew will be in force from 6 p.m.to 6 a.m.the following day.The curfew will be in force in the remaining nine districts from 10 p.m.to 6 a.m.and the curfew will be relaxed from 6 a.m.to 10 p.m.The District Collectors and police have already ordered to enforce curfew in the districts.At a recent review meeting, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy directed to reduce the relaxation time in districts where the Covid positivity rate is 5 per cent.
Since the positivity in East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Prakasam and Chittoor districts was 5 per cent, the state government has decided to increase the relaxation time in these five districts.With this, curfew relaxation time was restricted to 6 hours in the remaining districts.
