Bappi Lahari’s final Rites to be performed today!

Famous music director Bappilaharis funeral will be held today.Bappilaharis son came to India from America.

The funeral will be held in Mumbai at 10 am today.The real cause of death was a disorder called obstructive sleep apnoea; doctors concluded.

Doctors revealed that Bappilahari died of a heart attack due to this obstructive sleep apnoea.Bappilahari, who is known as the Disco King,s real name is Alokesh Lahari.Born on November 27, 1952 in Bengal.

Bappidas father Aparesh Lahari and mother Banarasi Lahari are famous singers in Bengal.With this, Bappida started to learn music at a young age.He learned tabla at the age of three.He is a close relative of Kishore Kumar.

Bappilahari, who started his music career at the age of 19, has tuned over 5,000 songs.Hindi film Disco Dancer‌ music has thrilled movie fans for over years.

Bappida entered the industry in 1972 as a music director with the Bengali film Dadu.However, his first Hindi film to feature music was Nanha Shikari in 1973.

He later went on to become a playback singer.Bappilahari is survived by his wife Chitrani, daughter Reema and son Bappa Lahari.
