AP-TS RTC issue: No busses for Dasara

Andhra Pradesh RTC sends 1,850 special buses to various states but not to Telangana.

It is known news that RTC buses have not resumed in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh since the implementation of lockdown over a dispute on operating an equal number of services.

It has affected several people in both states from travelling on the occasion of Dasara.Before the dispute, the RTCs of Telangana and AP used to operate extra buses during any big festival season.

Approximately 3,000 buses had run on each Dasara festival earlier.Both the RTCs have earned lots of profit during these festivals with special fares.However, the scenario has changed now.Though APSRTC is operating 1,850 special buses to various states within Andhra and Karnataka, Telangana has excluded from the list due to the dispute.Telangana RTC has been demanding APSRTC to run the buses in equal numbers with TSRTC, which is rejected by the former.

Till now, many discussions have failed to end the dispute.People of both states are suffering without direct buses during the festival seasons.

It has become an opportunity for private channels to loot the people.
