AP govt will reopen schools in August, says Minister Adimulapu Suresh

AP state Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said that the state government will take a decision on the release of 10th and inter results by the end of July.

Speaking to the media, Minister Adimulapu Suresh said the High Power Committee report would arrive in two weeks.

He said that the state government postponed the Tenth and Intermediate Board exams in the states in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus.Also, he said that the schools reopen in the second week of August this year.

Minister Adimulapu Suresh said that the state government will provide the new academic workbooks to students by July 15.He said that he will interact with the parents of the students and will create awareness about the next academic year.Minister Suresh explained that the new academic year will start in the 2nd week of August.

Also, he said that around 60 lakh students are studying in government schools and all of them cannot attend online classes.He explained that television programs had already been set up for the schools that cannot access the online classes.

Minister Suresh said that CM Jagan will soon discuss with the medical officers about the opening of schools and take a decision.
