Actor Vikrant Massey talks about Pay Disparity in Bollywood

Vikrant Massey is an actor who has impressed many with his acting skills in both small and big screens.

He recently spoke about the pay disparity in the film industry in an interview with a national media.

Massey has worked with popular actresses in the past, including Deepika Padukone in Meghna Gulzars Chhapaak.Even though the movie was not successful, he still feels proud of it and believes that political reasons affected its performance.

When asked about the pay disparity in Bollywood, Massey stated that some so-called A-listers are also doing films on digital platforms.He further revealed that many of his female co-stars have been paid more than him, but he has never complained about it.Massey acknowledged that his work experience does not get him paid as much as someone like Deepika Padukone.Massey also mentioned that he is comfortable expressing his opinions on social media, but he takes negative comments about himself, his family, or his wife to heart and has trouble sleeping on those days.

Massey recently appeared in Gaslight alongside Sara Ali Khan and Chitrangada Singh.He has several upcoming movies, including the sequel to his crime thriller Haseen Dilruba, in which he will appear with Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal.
