Prakash Jha’s “Matto ki Saikal trailer focuses on a daily wage laborer’s struggles

Mumbai 22nd August : The trailer of the Prakash Jha-starrer Mattos Ki Sai (Mattos Cycle) was revealed on Monday.The film is directed by M.

Gani, it is a slice-of-life-style film that was premiered in the Busan International Film Festival in 2020The trailer reveals the battle of the main character played by Prakash and his love for his bicycle.After establishing the bond of the protagonist and the vehicle, the trailer shows how , on a fine day, his bicycle is crushed by tractor.

Speaking about the movie, Prakash stated: "The script is extremely good.I was completely awed by the film.

It brought me back to 1980s , when I began my journey with documentary films and the Damul, a film about bonded labour.I was enthralled by the narrative enough that I chose not only to perform in the films 95 minutes but also to produce it." The filmmaker of the film M.Gani describes it as a tale of "a laborer who earns a daily wage his family, as well as their bicycle that is beloved to them." "The film is a contemporary one however, a lot of situations, incidents and characters are derived from my own life," adds the director.

Filmed in Mathura in Uttar Pradesh The film, Matto ki Saidal is scheduled to premiere in theaters on September 16, 2022 and it will be released through PVR Pictures.aa/kv.
