San Francisco, Aug 16 : Music streaming platform Spotify has begun offering three months of free trial of service to new Premium subscribersThe offer of three months is available to new individuals as well as student subscriptions, and those who are new Spotify Duo and family members will receive a free month.

The offer is not accessible to previous Premium members however, the platform offers those who cancel before July 15 the chance to renew their subscription for a the lowest price, getting the first three months of their subscription for $9.99 According to The Verge.The offer is valid for customers until the 11th of September, which is on a Sunday.

After the trial period of three months is up, users who availed of the offer will be charged the regular rate for the subscription.This latest arrangement could aid Spotify continue to see an increase in its growing subscriber base as the company reduces its hiring amid worries over the economic situation.
