Presently Anubrata Mondal has a shared space with two WBSSC scam suspects in CBI custody

Kolkata 14 August : To his displeasure, Trinamool Congress strongman and partys Birbhum district president, Anubrata Mondal on Saturday night, was required to share his room in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody with two main accused in the multi-crore teachers recruitment scam Anubrata Mondal, a Trinamool Congress strongman, Santi Prasad Sinha as well as Ashok Saha.

As of Saturday afternoon Mondal was living in a distinct space in the CBIs Nizam Palace office in central Kolkata.But, on Saturday night he was requested to share the office with Sinha as well as Saha.

When asked about the change in arrangement the CBI official provided an intriguing answer."The area in our office isnt in any way limitless, so we cant afford the expense of having a separate room for the accused in our custody.

However we must also reserve some of our free space for possible guests in the days ahead," he said.But, he did not clarify on what he really was referring to by the term "probable guests".

He added that keeping them together helps in the task of keeping a close eye over all of them simultaneously.The arrangement is strongly opposed by Mondal and he also pleaded with the sleuths from the central agency not to implement the new arrangement.

Sources say that he also expressed concern that the new arrangement could affect his privacy.However, his displeasure was not taken seriously by CBI officials.

Sinha or Saha did not voice any objection to the new arrangement.Sources also said that from the time they were housed in the same place, Mondal did not interact with them for a single moment on any issue.src/uk .
