Fahadh Faasil, a Malayalam actor, played the role of Shekhawat with great skillAllu Arjun, the lead actor of Pushpa said that Fahadh was his dream to join the project.

Sukumar favors Telugu-speaking actors for the major roles in his films. He remained faithful to his method when casting for Pushpa.

This is because Sukumar finds it practical "What happens to me is that I constantly change dialogues while on set.Although the scene will be preserved, I tend to improvise my dialogue. Its because I like actors who speak Telugu.Dhananjay, Kannadas Dhananjay knows Telugu well.He speaks Telugu.Rashmika speaks Telugu.

You can give the dialogue to her on-the-spot.This is easy.Sukumar told IANS.Fahadh was the exception Sukumar made.

Even though he does not speak Telugu but the director wanted to cast him in Pushpa: The Rise.I have been a huge fan since the very beginning. His performance in "Maheshinte prateekaram" was great.Allu Arjun can deliver his performance. They should be on the same screen.

People should experience tension by expressing their emotions.Sukumar explained.

Based on the reactions of the audiences and the movie collection, it seems that the casting worked well. This is especially true in Kerala, where Allu Arjuns Malayalam movies have a large following.

Since its December 17th release, Pushpa has enjoyed a steady run at the box office in all five languages. It is set in Andhra Pradesh, where red sandalwood smuggling takes place.
