Botswana confirms 19 Omicron variant cases

Botswana has confirmed 19 cases of the newly discovered Omicron variant Covid-19, according to a health officialAt a briefing on Sunday evening, Edwin Dikoloti, Health Minister, stated that 15 additional cases of Omicron variant were discovered by additional analyses of positive Covid samples.

This was after four foreigners had been declared infected last week.He stated that he would continue to expand his conduct tracing to ensure no potential cases go unnoticed.
