Mangalagiri police seized 1,020 kg of Marijuana !!

Mangalagiri Police recently held a lorry carrying marijuana under the bags of pineapple at the Kaja tollgate under the Mangalagiri, Thadepalli Corporation.Rural CI V Bhushan disclosed the details at a press conference.

He said that the police conducted inspections based on information that marijuana was being smuggled from Narsipatnam in Visakhapatnam district to Naidupet in Nellore district.As a part of this, police carried out extensive inspections at the toll gates.

During the inspection, the police stopped a lorry at the check post.After thorough checking, police found the marijuana under the bags of pineapple stock.

Police seized 1,020 kg of cannabis from 23 pineapple stock bags and arrested lorry driver Vangalapudi Srinivasa Rao and another man named Ethula Nukaraju.The CI said that during the interrogation, the two accused revealed that they have no information about this and were ordered to take the truck to the Nellore district.

The police said that the accused has no information about the marijuana sellers or the buyers.The CI say that they will soon arrest the people behind this after a full investigation.
