UK Whisky brand enters India

By IANSlifeNew Delhi, Jan 6 (IANSlife) UKs Whisky brand The Famous Grouse has made its entry into the Indian market and will be available in select stores across Delhi, UP, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab, Goa, and Assam.

Brought in India by Kyndal Group, the spirit brings together the finest ingredients creating a natural drink from handcrafted casks.

The brand joins the growing bottled in origin standard Scotch category in India which clocked category sales of 5,82,000 cases in 2019 as per International Wine and Spirits Record (IWSR 2019).The whisky brand has been UKs top-selling whisky for many years and a Scan Track report by Nielsen estimated sales of The Famous Grouse exceeding 71 million pounds in the UK off-trade in the 12 weeks to January 2020.
