Manchu Lakshmi supports Sania

There has been a severe outpour in the social media over the appointment of Sania Mirza as the brand ambassador for Telangana state.

Sania Mirza,who is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, wiped away tears as she told India’s NDTV network she was tired of continually being forced to defend her “Indian-ness”.

While some people supported the move of KCR to chose Sania as the brand ambassador, few others contradicted same.Recently, Manchu Lakshmi took the stand of Sania Mirza and said that the comments against Sania Mirza who has brought many laurels for the country were unsolicited.

She said that her entire support will ever remain for Sania.Lashing out at the critics of Sania, Lakshmi posted "Enough is enough.1st of all we dont give due credit to our sports people & finally when someone is getting some we throw her under the bus.Sania Mirza is TOTALLY deserving of her role as the Brand Ambassador of Telangana.She has brought tennis to light by dedicating her life to it and by playing for india.

All the haters pls give ur self a break.She will only rise higher.My support to Sania Mirza fulllly.Rock on sister !!." This is quite a bold statement as there have been several sections of the social media who are not taking this appointment of Sania very well.
