Vijay Deverakonda and Rahul Sankrityan Join Forces After 5-Year Hiatus

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda is reuniting with director Rahul Sankrityan after a long break.

Their last collaboration was the movie Taxiwala, and this new project marks their return after over five years apart.

Rahul previously worked with actor Nani on Shyam Singha Roy, and now, he and Vijay are teaming up for an untitled political-thriller-drama.This film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and will blend elements of period-action-drama with political-thriller genres.

The story will be set in the Rayalaseema region, and production is scheduled to start in 2024.Although the plot is shrouded in secrecy, the script impressed Vijay Deverakonda enough to give it the green light.

The script is currently in the writing and finalization stage, and the films title is expected to be revealed in October or November.
