Rajinikanth To Fight With Another Bollywood Villain Yet Again

Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in Annaatthe directed by Siruthai Siva.

Rajinikanth will be seen playing the part of a doting big brother in this family action drama which has a huge line up of star cast including Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu, Meena, Prakashraj, Sathish, Soori, Goerge Maryan, and others.

The film was earlier planned to hit the screens on Pongal 2021 but it would now release in Summer 2021 due to the delay in shoot because of the ongoing pandemic.The makers of this film are currently gearing up to resume the shoot in November, adhering to government rules and regulations.

The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.Now the latest update is that Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has been roped in to play the main villain in this film.

Jackie was recently sen as the main antagonist in Thalapathy Vijays Bigil.The makers also announced that the film will have Prakash Raj in a negative role.

Jackie Shroff made his Kollywood debut with a remarkable role in Thiagarajan Kumararajas critically acclaimed film Aaranya Kaandam.With Annaatthe, Jackie will be the fifth successive Bollywood actor to play villain to Rajnikanth.In the past, Nana Patekar in Kaala, Akshay Kumar in 2.0, Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Petta and Suniel Shetty in Darbar were the antagonists that confronted the Tamil superstar.Stay tuned for more updates on this film! .
