Of late, Akhtar is supported by Pakistan former spinner Saqlain Mushtaq who said, not giving proper farewell to Dhoni is a kind of defeat for BCCI.He also stated that "BCCI did not treat Dhoni in the right way, and the retirement process for a legend like him should not happen like this.".
