Hyderabad Meteorological dept issues YELLOW alert to these areas in T’gana

Heavy rains lashed Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states on Thursday night.

Several districts in Telangana, including Hyderabad city, experienced heavy rainfall.

The Telangana government is on high alert as several areas are inundated with floodwater.The Hyderabad Meteorological Office has issued a yellow alert in Telangana in the wake of the heavy rains in several parts of the country for the next three days.

Also, a little rainfall is expected in many parts of the state on Friday.The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has warned of very heavy rains for three days in Telangana from Saturday.

The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for 18 regions of Telangana.It predicted light showers for another three days from Saturday as the surface trough weakens in the southwestern Bay of Bengal.

The regions Manchiryala, Jagityala, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Janagam, Siddipet, Mahabubabad and Nagar Kurnool, Komaram Bhim Asifabad, Nirmal, Khammam, Warangal, Yadadri, Bhubaneswar and Nalgonda districts are likely to receive heavy rains, the Meteorological office said.The Hyderabad Meteorological department warned of heavy rains with thunderstorms in many parts of the state.
