‘Bhaagamathie’ Hindi Remake To Release Directly On Amazon Prime

Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty starrer super hit horror film Bhagamathie is getting remade in Hindi as Durgavati.

Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is said to reprise the role of Anuskha in this remake and Bhaagamathie director Ashok is helming the remake as well.

The film will be presented by Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and produced by Vikram Malhotra’ Abundantia.The films shooting has been resumed recently and will be completed by the first week of October.

The film also has Jisshu Sengupta, Arshad Warsi, and Mahie Gill in important roles.Now, the latest buzz is that Durgavati is will be opting for a direct OTT release and news is that popular digital platform Amazon Prime has acquired the film’s digital rights.

Reportedly, the streaming channel is planning to premiere the film by this year-end once the entire shooting formalities are done.Stay tuned for more updates!.
