Prasanth Varma who is known for helming ‘Awe’ and ‘Kalki’ fame, is currently busy in his upcoming directorial venture ‘Zombie Reddy’, which has Teja Sajja of ‘Oh Baby’ fame in the lead role.The child artist who is also popular for essaying Jr Chiranjeevi in action-drama ‘Indra’, is now making his debut as a hero with Prasanth Varma’s ‘Zombie Reddy’.

The makers have already released the trailer of the film that gave us hints that the film will be based on Zombies and the COVID-19 induced lockdown as ordered by Narendra Modi back in March 2020.

The makers have now released a song with the catchiest phrase of the pandemic, “Go Corona” and it is hilarious.

The song describes how we have suffered from being at home.From police bashing the people for stepping out to people who are out to buy salt (which are real incidents) are shown in this song and it tickles us.The song also refers to incidents wherein people drinking sanitizers as wine shops were closed and washing vegetables with detergents.The words bleaching powder and paracetamol were also used that were used by political leaders in speeches.

Rap Lyrics penned by Mama Singh sounds outlandish and realistic, who also did a commendable job with his rap.

‘Zombie Reddy’ is based on real incidents, which is set in Kurnool backdrop and it is the first movie on corona as well as zombie concept in Telugu Film Industry.Zombie Reddy is said to be a high concept film, which is produced by Raj Shekar Varma under the banner of Made under Apple Tree Studies.The film will have its release on the 5th of February.

The film was initially supposed to be released during the time of Sankranthi, however, the makers taking advice from industry veterans decided to postpone the release date.
