Yuvraj Singh is thinking to call off his retirement to play again for Punjab in the domestic field.

According to Cricbuzz, Yuvraj has taken this decision as his passion for cricket is still on, and he wants to play for Punjab at least in the T20 format.

The 38-year-old is reportedly sent a letter via email to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, and an official declaration is awaited.

The decision has come out in request from the PCA secretary Puneet Bali who approached the former all-rounder to re-consider his retirement plan.

Speaking to a media source, Bali said Punjab Cricket needs Yuvraj as he still has the guts to play for the state.

The way he guided the latest sensations Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Prabh Simran Singh and Anmolpreet Singh was exceptional, praised Bali.

When the media tried to confirm the news from Yuvraj’s mother Shabnam Singh, she responded positively and said it might be true.

She has asked to wait till Yuvraj arrives, after IPL 2020 in UAE.The world cup winning all-rounder had announced his retirement last June.
