The Fifteenth Economic Community to local bodies does not give funds to governments.It would directly deposit in the account of the Panchayats.Thus this year’s quota was credited.When the funds were so deposited, many sarpanches thought of paying bill arrears of minor works in the panchayats like motors repairs.
But surprisingly, the Sarpanches found that the accounts were emptied.With this, they have approached their higher authorities.They are now contemplating how to pay the bill arrears.Most of the Sarpanches were from YCP.They are in dilemma whether what to do now.
Fifteen YCP sarpanches in Maidukuru constituency in Kadapa district have dared to resign.They wrote the letter stating that they are not receiving funds for bill arrears and hence they cannot do anything.Now, it has become interesting to see what the government would do to repay these bill arrears.
