YSRTP chief YS Sharmila’s ‘Praja Prasthanam’ walkathon starts tomorrow.Padayatra dates and route maps in Telangana have been finalized.
The campaign, which starts on Wednesday, will cover 400 days, 4,000 kilometres, covering 90 constituencies, and 14 parliamentary constituencies in Telangana.
Arrangements have been made for the walkathon to cover 10 to 15 km per day.However, before the start of the walkathon, Sharmila is going to hold a public meeting in Chevelle tomorrow morning.Tudi Devender, the party’s leader, said there would be ‘Rachabanda’ programs in the middle of the trip.
On the other hand, YS Sharmila will continue the unemployment hunger strikes carried out every Tuesday in various parts of Telangana.Speaking to reporters at Lotuspond, recently, Devender said Sharmila would initially pay tributes at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya, as the Praja Prasthanam walkathon starts tomorrow.
Also, the party leader said Sharmila was not organizing today’s unemployment hunger strike as she was going to Idupulapaya.The walkathon starts every day from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and resumes from 3 pm to 6 pm.On the other hand, YS Vijayamma called on the people of Telangana to support the walkathon to be launched by YS Sharmila.
