Yesterday, Telugustop has exclusively reported that Classics, one of the leading distribution companies in overseas markets for Telugu Cinema, has backed out of the deal it made with Khaidi No.150 and Dhruva.Correction in the information given, the distributors are only backing out from Dhruva but not Khaidi No.150 and Dhruva was sold for 5.50cr in overseas but not 8.50cr.
Reportedly, Classics has resold the distribution rights of Dhruva to another distribution company named Columbus Ohio for the same 5.50cr.However, Classics Entertainments is still with Khaidi No.150 theatrical rights which were brought for a record 13.50cr.
This would be hard to listen for Ram Charan adorers as the star is yet to gain confidence from overseas distributors and audience.Let’s hope for a big change in his image in overseas with a friendly film like Dhruva.
