Beijing, January 1, 2018 : .Xiaomi launched the flagship Xiaomi 12 Series smartphone in China recently.A new report claims that Xiaomi sold $1.8 billion ($283 Million) of smartphones within five minutes via both online and offline channels. GizmoChina reports that Xiaomi adopted a different strategy to sell its flagship phones this year, and has sold a smaller flagship phone for first time since 2009.The Xiaomi 12 compact phone was paired with the Pro version and the less expensive Xiaomi 12X.
These new phones feature faster charging speeds and a better back camera, as well as improved displays.
The Xiaomi 12x is priced at Yuan 3199, Yuan 3 699 and Yuan 4 699 respectively for the Xiaomi 12x and Xiaomi 12 Pro.

The Xiaomi 12 has a 6.28 inch 2K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh speed.The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor powers it, along with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Out of the box, it runs Android 12 OS and MIUI 13 custom skin.
It has three cameras at the back: a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor and a 13MP ultra wide-angle lens.There is also a 5MP telephoto lens.
The front camera is 32MP and allows for self-portraits.
