World’s tallest tower in Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday held a review meeting with the officials to discuss various proposals regarding his idea of building a necklace of sky scrappers around Hussain Sagar Lake in heart of the city.As per reports KCR ordered officials to construct the tallest tower of the world at Sanjeevaiah Park abutting the lake.

He reportedly said that while preserving the Sanjeevaiah Park as it is, world’s tallest building would be built in the area.During a five-hour long review meeting, it was decided to construct skyscrapers in the first phase on 100 acres at 40 places around the lake.

The officials submitted the list of identified properties, along with their maps, where skyscrapers could be constructed.Bhudda Bhavan, Raniganj Bus Depot, Lower Tankbund, Kundan Bagh, Patigadda, Sailing Club, Youth Hostel, Raghav Sadan, Narsing Colony, Dilkusha Guest House, Greenlands, New MLA Quarters, Electricity Bhavan, Textbook Printing Press, Reddy Hostels, Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Building, Expotel and Snow World were identified by the officials to contsruct the skyscrapers.

KCR also directed officials to launch the works for cleaning and beautification of Hussainsagar lake.He announced Rs.100 crore for diverting the sewerage lines joining the lake.K Chandrashekar Rao said that within the next two years the face of Hyderabad has to be changed through an integrated approach of developing the existing roads and constructing 5-6 integrated sky ways with multiple layers of flyovers all over the city.

For this the Chief Minister said that an amount of Rs 25,000-30,000 crores would be spent by the government phase wise.The world’s tallest tower at present is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

The 828 metres high tower has 163 floors.
