The Central government has responded to the letter written by AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.Around 4 lakh 40 thousand Kovshield vaccines arrived at Gannavaram airport on Monday night.
Within 24 hours of writing the letter, the vaccines reached AP.AP Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Alla Nani thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Health Minister Harsha Vardhan for sending the Kovshield vaccines to AP.Around two lakh Covaxin vaccinations will reach the Gannavaram Airport from Hyderabad on Tuesday morning.
On this occasion, Minister Alla Nani thanked the Central Government on behalf of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan and the people of Andhra Pradesh.
The minister said four lakh and forty thousand Kovishield vaccines would be distributed to all the districts in AP.Vaccines will be sent to each district and everyone over the age of 45 will be vaccinated.
It was revealed that special measures are being taken to curb the spread of coronavirus from time to time and the services of volunteers and Asha workers are being utilized to create awareness among the people about the vaccine.Minister Alla Nani said that all those who are eligible will be vaccinated at primary health centers and urban health care centers.
