Mumbai 7 Aug : Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur, whose most recent Telugu release starring Dulquer Salmaan – ‘Sita RAMAM” is receiving a positive reaction and is set to play the role of the lead in her forthcoming film ‘Pooja Meri Janaan’. She said that she is at ease as an actor to be able to play the type of characters she always wanted.
Mrunal who previously worked for TV and was able to make her Hindi film debut with “Love Sonia,” in which she played the title role.Her transition from TV to Bollywood with leading roles, she has given her confidence in her.
Thanking God for her blessings in a statement, the actress said in an announcement: “I am grateful to have had these opportunities this early in my career.Even before I started in the field, I was conscious of the struggles that come with it but my primary goal was to do my best and let my story speak through my work.What makes me happy is that people enjoy it and are able to appreciate it too.It’s the most uplifting encouragement that an actor could ever receive.”
The actress has promised to “continue to put in the effort to make sure that she can create the kind of stories and films” that she would like to be a part of.
“I would like to get more roles that are in line with my personality and the actor I would like to become in the long term.It’s not easy, but I’m incredibly grateful that I am able to do the things I love to do.I can’t deny that in the past it was an awful amount of effort to make sure that makers believe in my abilities to play the roles I wanted but I’m now more secure and in an environment in which I can choose the roles I want to take on,” she added.
“Poojameri Jaan” also features Huma Qureshi Vikram Singh Chauhan, and Vijay Raaz.
