59th Filmfare Award Winners List

The Filmfare ceremony is the oldest and most prominent film events dedicated to Hindi films in India.The awards were first introduced in 1954, the same year as the National Film Awards.

Tamil star Dhanush won best debutant actor for his stupendous performance in ‘Raanjhanaa’.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the incredibly realistic biopic of sprint champion Milkha Singh, scored three out of the top four awards including best actor, best director and best film.

The picture won a total of six prizes.The star-studded awards ceremony was held at YashRaj Studio in Andheri Friday evening.
