By Amita Verma Lucknow, November 19, : , With the elections only months away, he’s preparing for his biggest political test.But that doesn’t seem to stop Pushkar Singh Dhami from attempting to win the seat of chief minister.
He was elevated into this position in July.
Dhami, acutely conscious of all the difficulties he is facing, remains confident that the BJP will return to power in Uttarakhand.
The chief minister stated that he is working at breakneck speed during his three day visit to Lucknow.Over 400 decisions have been taken so far that will be of benefit to the average citizen.
The atmosphere has been positive and the people of Uttarakhand look forward to a BJP government.
Dhami stated that he worked 20 hours per day in order to get things back on the rails.
I have a good rapport with everyone.Traffic isn’t stopped whenever I move, and security concerns are not allowed to prevent me from meeting people.
Geeta, my wife and the two boys are all from my village.I reside in Dehradun alone.
He said that this allows him to focus on his goals, and not let any distractions distract me.
According to the chief minister, he is working hard to eliminate ‘traces’ of anti-incumbency and create a positive atmosphere in the hill states.
I have requested all departments to create and submit a roadmap for the next 10 years, so we can get started immediately.He said that the state had been ravaged by natural disasters, and that they are now fully focused on developing without losing any time.
Dhami stated that he was able to settle asset-sharing disputes which had been ongoing for more than 20 years during his Thursday meeting with Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
He stated that he also relaxed the regulations for filmmakers to make filmmaking more enjoyable in his beautiful state.
The chief minister avoided questions about infighting within the party or the difficulties he faces.He said that “We are already into the election mode” and stated, “Everyone’s priority it to see us return to power.” Yogi Adityanath has been asked to run for office in my state.
Dhami was overjoyed at the praises he received from Prime Minister NarendraModi and said that “Whatever you are today, it is because of your blessings.”
Pushkar Singh Dhami, during his Lucknow visit, visited Lucknow University’s hostel and made old friends.
It was filled with nostalgia and memories.It was a place I studied and where I spent many years studying student politics.”It was great going back to my hostel and meeting new friends.” He added that while he enjoyed the memories of his time here, he also believed in working for tomorrow.
The favorite song of the quintessential man is “Nadiya chale, chale re dhara, chanda chale,” from the seventies.
