Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy conducted a review on the corona situation in the state.CM Jagan directed the authorities to increase the number of beds in Covid hospitals.
He suggested allocating 3,000 beds in Covid care centers in each district and immediately recruiting additional staff wherever needed.He ordered to set up new oxygen plants in the state to overcome oxygen deficiency in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Jagan said, “1000 oxygen beds should be set up in Covid care centers.Increase fee for Kovid treatment in government-listed private hospitals.
The same rates should be applied to the hospitals providing Covid treatment under the Arogyasri scheme,” he said.
CM Jagan added, “No hospital should refuse to treat Covid patient.
We will increase the salaries of FNOs and MNVOs working in the Covid hospitals.Doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff should be recruited immediately in Covid hospitals.42 PSA oxygen plants should be set up in the state.Oxygen tankers with a capacity of 10 KL should be set up at the teaching hospital and 1 KL oxygen tankers at other hospitals.”
