The former chief minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has accused the YCP government of harassing the Telugu Desam Party leaders in Andhra Pradesh by filing illegal cases against them.Chandrababu held a teleconference with Kurnool TDP leaders to discuss the arrest of BC Janardhan Reddy.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that the illegal cases filed against BC Janardhan Reddy and Telugu Desam Party leaders should be dealt with legally.Chandrababu said that as people in the Kurnool district are dying due to corona and black fungus, the YCP seems busy filing illegal cases against the leaders of the opposition party.

Chandrababu questioned, “Eight TDP leaders were arrested last Sunday and six have not yet appeared before the magistrate.I want to know where they are and why the police haven’t brought them before the magistrate after their arrest.”

“If the situation demands, we will approach the Supreme Court and fight in the case of BC Janardhan Reddy.People are noticing the atrocities being committed by the police against the opposition party leaders.

He recalled that the AP High Court referred to AP govt as democracy is back-sliding in AP.Chandrababu called for virtual agitation abiding by the rules of the corona.
