The year 1998 has been a golden era for Sachin Tendulkar.

His best records in Cricket, ‘Most ODI runs in a calendar year: 1,894 runs’ and ‘Most centuries in a calendar year: 9’ were recorded in 1998.Especially the two centuries he scored in Sharjah against Australia are unforgettable.

Among the two, one century took India to the final of the triangular series while the other has made India clinch the title.In the final, Sachin fans witnessed a storm of runs when he scored a racy 134 runs against the Australians.

In one of those centuries, VVS Laxman had been at the other end as a non-striker witnessing the storm of the Master-Blaster.

Recently, Laxman visited the same stadium as a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad and took to twitter to share his recalled memories.

He said “Coming back to Sharjah after a long time.Whenever I walk on this field memories of those two special 100s from @sachin_rt comes back to my mind, rushing like a #desertstorm” (sic).

After his post went viral, Sachin replied to Laxman and asked a question: “Still remember both those games like they happened just yesterday.And do you remember how we almost got blown away by that desert storm?”.To which Laxman replied, “All I remember is the Aussies were blown away by the desert storm 🌪named @sachin_rt”.
